Contraceptive Implants

The nexplanon implant is a very effective contraceptive that lasts for 3 years. It is fitted and removed in the surgery by Dr May.

Nov 24: Unfortunately, due to high demand the waiting list for implant fitting and removal is currently closed. Please contact Sandyford for implant fitting or removal. If you need alternative contraception or temporary contraception wile you wait to have an implant changed then please speak to one of doctors or ANP. We hope to re-open for implant appointments at the surgery in January 25.
