Main Street, Barrhead, will be closed eastbound from Friday 1 until Sunday 17 August to allow resurfacing works to take place.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Church Road and Dovecothall roundabout, eastbound lanes only.

Drivers should follow the diversion route between Main Street, Church Road, Glen Street, Carlibar Road, Dovecothall Street and Main Street, and vice versa.

For the majority of the resurfacing works, you'll be able to access Barrhead Health Centre and Water Road by the westbound lanes of Main Street and use the car parking facilities at the Health Centre, Foundry and McCready Family Centre. You should follow the signed diversion route if you're approaching or leaving the Health Centre or Water Road via the eastbound lanes of Main Street.
